Presenting the Dark Chocolate macaron… Double Chocolate's "EVIL" twin brother.
There's a common saying that states that the richer the chocolate, the more sinful it is to health.
However, that's not the case with dark chocolates. In fact, with a higher cocoa content, it actually does have more health benefits when compared to it's classic flavoured twin.
So is it really the evil twin? Of course not…
So Why Dark Chocolate?
Well, why not? Afterall, don't we all have friends who love chocolate, but don't take them unless it's dark chocolate? There's just something about the bittersweet sensation that dark chocolates give that attract their own group of fans.
And because macarons tend to be sweet, everyone will welcome a filling that reduces its sweetness. And that filling our fans, is the beloved dark chocolate.
How We Make Them…
Just like our Double Chocolate macarons, we introduce cocoa powder into the production of the macaron shells. Except this time, darker and more bitter cocoa powder is used.
And once the shells are baked, we prepare our dark chocolate ganache using premium dark chocolate. And after it's allowed to cool, we combine the shells and the fillings, giving us the perfect Dark Chocolate macaron done to the high standards here at Macarons.sg.
